WHEN SURFACES TAKE CENTRAL STAGE
The freestanding sink Plissè designed by Paolo Ulian for antoniolupi imposes with its solidity softened by parallel signs that run lengthwise down the surface. The volume proposes the aesthetics of a pleated fabric with a vertical pattern, a surface that seems to move lightly thanks to the variation of light and the play of shadows determined by the effect in relief.
Ottoman or armchair? BonBon, the new project signed by DEBONADEMEO for Borzalino, is a chair with a double soul. A piston mechanism allows the BonBon backrest to be lifted or lowered easily and quickly. A multifunctional design that makes the seat extremely versatile, allowing it to be used in a wide range of environments and situations. With the backrest raised, BonBon becomes a comfortable armchair ideal to complete the living room or to furnish a corner of the bedroom. By lowering the back, BonBon becomes a practical ottoman to use as a footrest or as an additional seat for guests. A project that invites to interact. A response to the needs of flexibility of contemporary living.
The details are the heart of PATHS by Enuit21, the bed designed by Ilaria Marelli for Enuit21. Defined by simple and elegant lines, PATHS is characterized by the decoration of its padded headboard: a geometric pattern in relief that gives almost the impression of tracing paths. The bed frame is upholstered in the same fabric as the headboard.
A bed with a minimal aesthetic that can fit both in classic contexts and in contemporary interiors.
Casalgrande Padana, FUSION
Fluid as the water it contains, the Flow washbasin is born from the observation of the traces left on the marble by the waterjet machine: irregular curved waves in relief that recall a pleated fabric. An effect considered by operators as a defect that, instead, Paolo Ulian transforms into a new aesthetic quality.
