On the occasion of Milan Designers  Week 2021, OLMAR presents a selection of its main products and some absolute novelties designed by Giulio Cappellini. This event marks a new beginning for the company, since 2021 under the artistic direction of Giulio Cappellini, worldwide ambassador of the Italian design.

OLMAR designs and produces heating and air sanitation and purification systems, with no flue or installation needed. On the market since 1957, the company has achieved important milestones thanks to its technological know-how, well confirmed by the numerous patents and the registration in the special register of innovative start-ups.

Since February 2021, OLMAR entrusted the art direction to Giulio Cappellini and the corporate restyling project too, which also implies the development of new products. A new chapter stemed from the desire to combine the high technological performance of OLMAR products with a contemporary design, becoming one of the sector Italian leading company even on an aesthetic point of view.

OLMAR electric heating systems use far infrared rays technology (FIR – Far Infrared Rays), also known as “biogenic rays” or “rays of life”, which are capable of penetrating the body, with a consequent increase in cutaneous and subcutaneous temperature. A process that creates thermal well-being, without the need for installation, maintenance and flue.

To further increase the beneficial effects of FIRs, OLMAR has fused classic glass sheets with 75% pure silver glass sheets, enriching the FIRs healthful effects with the antibacterial and antimicrobial properties of Ionic Silver. OLMAR’s electric heating systems are able to totally break down viruses, bacteria, spores, germs, moulds and parasites, limiting the transmission of any viral disease and reduce respiratory allergies.

Thanks to studies in the field of nano-technologies, OLMAR laboratories created biogenic wave energy generators by applying pure silver inside a glass plate. This patented DualAg+ process allows to combine the beneficial and healthy effects of biogenic waves with the antibacterial and microbial properties of ionic silver.
