The Grand Prix jury changes with each edition, to guarantee varied, impartial judgement when it comes to choosing the projects. As a further guarantee of impartiality, any members of the jury directly involved in one of the projects under consideration must declare their involvement and abstain from assessing the project in question. In such cases, their score will be replaced with the arithmetic average of the scores given by the other members of the jury.

170 projects in 4 categories

The commission will examine the 170 projects submitted, selecting the 4 finalists for each of the following categories:

  • shopping and business centres (large surfaces);
  • public, service and industrial buildings;
  • residential buildings;
  • façade cladding and outside flooring, swimming pools and spas.

For each work, the jury will consider how the Casalgrande Padana ceramic tiles have been used, taking account of three aspects:

  • Creativity, with regard to architectural composition, design, study of colour and finishes, layout design and the personal touch brought to the project.
  • Function and technical performance, with regard to the use and type of project.
  • Installation, with regard to execution, application technique and study of details.

The jury will meet on 11 March to decide on the winners of the 4 categories of the Grand Prix.
