Poggesi boasts over four decades of history and experience and a production entirely made in Italy in their headquarters in Figline Valdarno. The parasols are all handcrafted by Florentine master craftsmen with the highest attention to details, quality of the raw materials and aesthetics. The leitmotiv that run the company is simple: to combine contemporary style with traditional forms and build a pleasant but functional umbrella that stand to the test of time.
Designed to bring comfort and refinement to the outdoor spaces in perfect harmony with any type of architecture, our parasols have in their versatility another key feature: multi-directional, easy to open and protected by a locking system that maintains any desired position. The peculiar Poggesi cantilever arm, which is located inside the roof, offers an extraordinary combination of manageability and aesthetics. In addition, all the products are available in a wide range of fabrics, with different bases, structures and finishes, to satisfy all the tastes and needs.
The durability and high resistance to corrosion are ensured by the combination of the artisanal work of our master craftsman and the use of high quality raw materials: stainless steel and aluminium for the structure (varnished with polyester-based thermosetting powders coats to increase the resistance to corrosion) and a cloth, which is entirely sewn with a cotton thread sewn to guarantee the highest waterproofing. Fundamental characteristics that makes any Poggesi sunshade a rare synthesis of design, functionality and robustness.
Innovation and creation of quality items while never forgetting tradition, are just two of the principles that guide Poggesi in producing new designs. The careful observation of the evolution of the reference market and the passion for the new technologies, drove the company to invest in studying innovative structures capable to solve space and encumbrance demands that a central pole umbrella could not guarantee. Indeed, Poggesi designed and patented a unique cantilever parasol, that has its cantilever arm located inside the roof, allowing the structure to rotate of 360°, offering an extraordinary combination of manageability and aesthetics. Last but not least the structure is equipped with a telescopic system which allows the user not to remove, during the opening and closing stage, the furniture set under the umbrella.

The structure is totally made of in aluminum with a diameter of the shaft of 100×3 mm, completely customizable in colour thanks to the thermosetting powder coat. Nuts, bolts and screws are in stainless steel instead, with a number ribs that can reach a maximum of 12. The canopy of MAGNUM can be personalized too, picking it out in many colours according to the palette of the chosen fabric, which makes the model elegant and suitable for every architectural space.
