When the company was established and its initial developments
Interpreting the flexibility of contemporary living with modular and customizable bedroom solutions. This is the mission of Enuit21, a Tuscan brand that offers beds and bedroom accessories entirely Made in Italy, designed both for residential and hospitality settings.
In 2021 Enuit21 was established resulting from an idea of Antonio Caso, owner of Materassificio Montalese Spa, a company in Pistoia that has been producing mattresses of the highest quality for over 50 years. This is the project: to create a coordinated collection that is completely dedicated to bedrooms, by transferring Materassificio Montalese’s huge expertise in terms of craft skills and technical know-how into the world of design. “But that is not all,’ Paolo Luchi says, ‘the aim is also to let Materassificio Montalese, by means of Enuit21, have access to the furniture industry, which in our country still plays a significant role in the distribution of beds and mattresses, thus completing our multi-channel strategy”.
The desire to establish a relationship with the world of design is confirmed by the decision to assign Enuit21’s first collection to Ilaria Marelli, an internationally renowned designer. Thanks to the collaboration with Ilaria Marelli and with young designers such as Filippo Di Lecce, Gabriele Panciera and ferriani.sborgi, Enuit21 now offers a wide catalogue of design solutions for bedrooms. This is a collection made using only local raw materials and recycled products, underlining the company’s focus on environmental sustainability. “In our factories in Pistoia we self-generate energy to satisfy our energy needs at 100% by means of a system of solar panels, and we pay the same attention to the development of our products”, Mr. Antonio Caso declares.

“We designed Enuit21 with a very specific identity: quality of manufacture, flexibility in being able to adapt to customers’ needs, strong recognizability of typical Made in Italy values and price competitiveness, thanks to the industrial structure that represents us”, Leonardo Baccaro says.
“Since we started up in Tuscany, an area where so many companies in the fashion and textile sector are located, from the very beginning we thought of creating products related to this world. Here was the idea: to design beds starting with the fabric, with the aim of not conforming to the market. That idea has not changed, and soon it could be implemented also thanks to the HUB Young Talents”, Leonardo Baccaro states.
